Service units

The service unit ensures the correct compressed air quality and filters compressor oil, condensate and dirt particles from the air. Depending on the application, a service unit consists of a pressure regulator, various filters, a branching module, pressurisation and exhaust valves.

Filter regulators/lubricators

A unit consisting of a filter regulator and lubricator is used when the compressed air needs to be cleaned and oiled. The filter regulator removes the condensate and coarse dirt from the compressor. The lubricator supplies a precisely dosed amount of pneumatic lubricating oil.

Compressed air filters

Filters for purifying the compressed air for various quality classes include standard filter, fine filter, microfilter and activated carbon filter.

Pressure regulators

Pressure regulators for air preparation comprise of:
- Standard regulators with different pressure regulation ranges
- Precision pressure regulators
- Electrically actuated pressure regulators
- Regulator manifolds


Lubricators are used for improving the compressed air as a lubricant for pneumatic components.

On/off valves and soft-start valves

Festo provides On/off valves for switching on and exhausting systems as well as Soft-start valves for gradual pressure build-up.

Air Dryers

Festo offers adsorption dryer with a specific pressure dew point and high flow rate and a membrane air dryer with a flow-rate-dependent pressure dew point.

Air distributors

Festo offers branching modules and distributor blocks as an intermediate outlet for different qualities of compressed air.

Condensate drain

Festo offers a condensate drain for attaching to service units and compressed air networks and systems. This product automatically drains the collected condensate.

Pressure booster DPA

The pressure booster DPA is a twin-piston pressure intensifier used to compress air. When the compressed air booster DPA is pressurised with compressed air, secondary pressure is automatically built up. The output pressure p2 can increase to up to twice the value of the input pressure p1. The required output pressure is set using a manually operated pressure regulator.

Pressure indicators

Pressure indicators include pressure gauge kit DPA, flanged pressure gauge FMA, pressure gauge MA, vacuum gauge VAM, etc.

Accessories for air preparation

These accessories include assembly components, sub-bases, safety components, pressure indicators and device-specific accessories.
